“Three words, eight letters; say it and I’m yours”. Have you heard the preceding line from any lover you know? Maybe some of us may say ‘yes’, others says ‘no’, and else don’t even care. However, there are some who doesn’t know the meaning of that logical line which is the romantic phrase of “I Love You”. But, come to think of it, let’s ask ourselves with the query above.
We are different beings with different views and opinions. Surely, we will arrive at unique answers if we are asked with that.
As the perfect bond of union, love plays as the main ingredient of this relationship. Hearing those words being uttered by someone, and is being addressed to you, you feel nothing but enchantment. You feel secured, as you have someone to rely on, and confide in and trust. But mostly, if you hear those words, you simply feel the "cloud 9" effect. Even others will accept it that just hearing those words will be a guarantee that they are being loved.
However, considering the adversaries, they say they just ham it up. They just don’t want those words being mouthed; but instead, prove it by means of action. That’s it, to show the action better than words, as what the saying “Action speaks louder than words” is about. It seems that they don’t care whether they perceive it orally or not, just as long as the love is being executed, it’s worth it.
Still, the decision remains to the each individual who have their own stand. Just be certain that those words you hear are not of an ersatz.

for me, yes. though many would say actions are the most important to determine how much you love a person, still words are needed to clarify them. again, how can you assume a thing to be yours? Unless otherwise stated!

@Jophet: hi... hmmm... well you do have a point right there. also saying those words has been abused now a days... specially by those liars out there roaming around for their next victim. tsk3x... i rather choose the way of saying it through actions... that is a foolproof idea... well, people are unique though so it is still up to them to decide. ^___^
